Pongo: Father of the Dalmatians and protective husband to Missis

Missis: His doting wife and loving mother to the puppies

Lucky: Pongo and Missis’ first born son.  Proud, plucky, and a natural born leader

Roly-Poly: Another Dalmatian son.  He is mischievous, playful, and not altogether responsible

Cadpig: Pongo and Missis’ daughter

Spot: An orphan Dalmatian

The Irish Setter: A dog from Chelmsford

The Boxer: A dog from Braintree

The Border Collie: A dog from Cambridge

The Colonel: A wise sheepdog

The Lieutenant: A tabby cat

Clover:  A cow


Mr. Dearly: Owner of Pongo.

Mrs. Dearly: Mr. Dearly’s loving wife.  Owner of Missis.

Nanny:  Housekeeper to the Dearly’s

Cruella de Vil: A long-lost schoolmate of Mrs. Dearly. 

Saul Baddun: One of Cruella’s henchman. 

Jasper Baddun: The other of Cruella’s henchman. 


When Mr. and Mrs. Dearly welcome a new litter of Dalmatians to their 1950s London home, Cruella de-Vil is quick to plot their kidnap. Loving puppy parents Pongo and Missis discover their location, and set out on a harrowing adventure through the countryside to rescue their puppies. With the help of several friendly dogs along the way, the family reunites on Christmas Day, and Cruella is defeated. But will the Dearlys take in all 101 dalmatians?
